Foundation of ICT Infotainment GmbH headquartered in Hildesheim

Lineas Automotive GmbH announces its change of name. The sites in Wolfsburg, Braunschweig, Nuremberg, Munich and Ingolstadt become ICT Software Engineering Nord GmbH.

2008/07
!zip EDV-Beratungs GmbH and !zip Automation GmbH are retrospectively merged into ICT Software Engineering SüdWest GmbH.

2008/01
ICT Software Engineering GmbH is founded, acting as a German holding company under the leadership of managing director Jörg Espelage that unites four strong partners:

  • ICT Netherlands
  • ICT Software Engineering Südwest GmbH (formerly Xcc Software GmbH)
  • LINEAS Automotive GmbH
  • !zip EDV-Beratungs GmbH with !zip Automation GmbH

The company employs some 210 people in Germany.

2006
Xcc Software AG becomes a wholly-owned subsidiary of ICT Netherlands. Xcc is now part of the ICT Group, a provider of software development services throughout Europe. Shortly afterwards the company is renamed ICT Software Engineering Südwest GmbH.

2001
LINEAS Informationstechnik GmbH spins off its automotive division due to continual growth and establishes LINEAS Automotive GmbH.

1996
!zip EDV-Beratungs GmbH is founded. Due to great demand for automation services, !zip establishes !zip Automation GmbH as a subsidiary in 1999.

1989
Xcc Software GmbH (X computer consulting) is founded. Following continual and successful expansion of the company it becomes a stock corporation in 1998.

1978
ICT Automatisering N.V. www.ict.nl is founded in the Netherlands. The company develops embedded software for industrial applications, hence the name ICT (“Industriële Computer Toepassingen”).
